The Campus Records Centre is a designated facility for the temporary storage of inactive University records.The staff of the Records Centre are responsible for managing the semi-active and inactive University records in compliance with retention periods prescribed in approved records retention and disposition authorities. Throughout this retention period, the records stored in the Records Centre are available for loan.
The
services include:
- The accessioning University records
- The maintenance of semi-active and inactive University records
- The secure destruction and disposition of records in a systematic manner
- The fulfilment of requests for semi-active and inactive University records
Service Forms
These forms are used to carry out semi-active records management processes.
Inventory Form (DOC) - This form is used to capture complete listings of records within offices of the Campus.
Destruction Form (DOC) - This form must be completed when conducting secure destruction of University records.
Transfer Form (DOC) - This form must be completed when physically transferring the custody of records from one office to another.
No destruction of records should take place without the authorisation of the Campus Records Manager.
