| Profile: | Dr. Jacqueline Benn is a Registered Clinical Psychologist in Barbados. She holds a M.Sc. Clinical Psychology (Distinction) from UWI-Mona, (2003). She gained her PhD (Education) with High Commendation from UWI-Cave Hill. Her thesis, using an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach examined the life experiences of intimate partner violent men in Barbados. Dr. Benn has worked extensively in the field of health care; first in nursing as a Registered General Nurse (RN) with Intensive Care training and also as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RMN). Over the last ten years she has worked as a Clinical Psychologist in the mental health arena.
Her interests include domestic violence, particularly as it relates to the perpetrator, human relationships particularly male – female interaction, workplace relationships and interaction and motivation.
