Bio

Dr. Ambadasu Bharatha is a Pharmacologist who joined the Faculty of Medical Sciences UWI Cave Hill Campus as a lecturer in Pharmacology in 2017. He completed MSc in Medical Pharmacology (Faculty of Modern Medicine) from Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences, affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (India), in 2008. Upon completion, he joined as a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology, BLDEU's Shri BM Patil Medical College, Vijaypur (India). In 2015, he was awarded a PhD in Medical Pharmacology from Dr. DY Patil University, Pune (India).

Dr. Bharatha has published research articles in international peer-reviewed journals and delivered presentations at international conferences. His areas of interest are experimental pharmacology, obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular pharmacology.
