The 3Ws Pavilion

3Ws Pavilion Front

The 3Ws Oval – named after the famous three West Indian cricketers – Worrell, Walcott and Weekes - was officially opened on April 21st 2003. Positioned just below the grave site of Sir Frank Worrell the “Oval” embraces The Walk of Fame, The Veranda, an international standard cricket pitch and outfield, The 3Ws Pavilion and an indoor cricket school. Funding for this facility was provided by SAGICOR.

The 3Ws Pavilion, which is situated at the entrance of the campus, is one of the attractions of the 3Ws Oval Complex. This two storey building of Caribbean style architecture is the repository of a pictorial review of cricketing icons from the 1900s to the present.

3Ws Pavillion Setup

On the first floor there is an elegantly appointed lounge area which opens to a balcony with a view of the entrance to the campus and the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination in the background.

The wide stairs leading from the ground floor to the first floor provide a division which facilitates the holding of workshops or meetings on one side while coffee breaks and lunch may be set up on the other side.
