My experience in Barbados was wonderful

 My experience in Barbados was wonderful. It was a challenge to learn and live in another country which does not speak my native language; however, it is the best way to learn another language. I liked the Language Structure and Phonology classes because I learned a lot about the correct grammar and pronunciation. Further, I interacted with other teachers outside the University who are the people of Barbados. They helped me to apply the information learned in class. Moreover, I enjoyed living in Barbados because it is a wonderful country and Barbadians are very kind, polite, and funny people. I have a lot of good memories of places, situations, and friends that I will never forget. Finally, Barbados has a special place in my heart and I hope to return as soon as possible.

I am still impressed by the blue of the sea of this country

 Doing the ESOL Programme in Barbados has been a wonderful experience. I really loved this beautiful country and its friendly people. I am still impressed by the blue of the sea of this country. I will really miss waking up every day and seeing the sea from my window. During these three months, I have learned useful information to communicate with English speakers, which is important to do my job successfully. I appreciate the effort of my teachers to teach me all the information I received. This is only the beginning of my learning process in English. However, I feel very proud of myself and the improvement I made. All that remains to say is goodbye Barbados with a sweet taste in my mouth.

Being in Barbados favoured a positive mood to learn

 I had the opportunity to attend English classes at the UWI for one week in March and it was a fulfilling experience. We had a great time while improving our English skills, with inventive teachers who were able to teach Ecotourism in a playful way. And obviously, being in Barbados favoured a positive mood to learn.
