Time and Talent
The alumni community is a vital resource for supporting the personal and professional development of current students. The Office of Alumni Relations currently runs a programme that prepares our final year students for the World of Work. A similar programme is also facilitated by our Office of Student Services for all students. These programmes are beneficial in aiding with the development of well-rounded graduates who are well prepared to take their place as future leaders and citizens of the Caribbean.
We need your help! Here are some of the ways you may volunteer to give of your time and talent to help current students:
Graduate Placement Programme
The Graduate Placement Programme which is in collaboration with the CIBC/First Caribbean International Bank assists with the preparation of students for the World of Work. The programme consists of a professional life worship which is conducted by Human Resources Alumni professionals. It covers areas such as curriculum vitae/resume writing, letter writing, interviewing techniques, dining and business etiquette and how to dress for the world of work.
You can make a difference to this effort by donating career resource materials, or by volunteering to deliver a workshop.
Please contact us to volunteer or to discuss how you may contribute to this very important programme.
