Build Better Symposium 2021

The University of the West Indies (The UWI), Cave Hill Campus in Barbados is pleased to announce that it will host a virtual 3 day symposium in February 2021, for anyone who works in or supports the design, construction, maintenance and governance of buildings across the Caribbean Region, under the theme “Building Sustainability: Design, Policy and Practice for the Caribbean”. Date: The mornings of February 8th-10th, 2021
Target Audience: architects, engineers (civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, transportation), quantity surveyors, town planners, land surveyors, contractors, project managers, artisans, material suppliers (hardware owners, quarry operators), transportation and heavy equipment operators, waste haulers; governance authorities such as, town and environmental planners, law makers and other policy making bodies and other private sector businesses such as financers, insurers and retailers.
